The three R's of recycling are Reuse, Recycle, and Reduce. The three R's outline the principals of that we should try to impliment in our lives. Recycling processes old and used materials into new products. Recycling generally prevents the waste of very useful materials, reduces the consumption of raw materials, and reduces energy usage, and hence greenhouse gas emissions are lower and helping slow down global warming.
Recycling includes the separation and collection of materials for processing and remanufacturing into new products, and the use of those recycled products to complete the cycle. Recycling also reduces energy consumption. For example, it requires less energy to make a new glass bottle from a recycled glass bottle because recycled glass melts at a lower temperature than the raw materials needed to make new glass. Recycling also includes the reuse of every day products such as grocery sacks or water bottles. Every little thing people do helps.
